Code Vein 2: Regional Pathos Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Hidden across every region of Code Vein 2, Regional Pathos are the game's exploration reward system — ancient altars dedicated to resident spirits that grant permanent passive blessings as long as you remain in their region.

Pray at one, and the blessing activates instantly, stacking with every other Pathos you've unlocked in that area.

There are 19 confirmed Regional Pathos across all maps, each with a distinct blessing and specific location, all tracked on MapMaster's Code Vein 2 interactive maps.

What Regional Pathos Do in Code Vein 2

Each Regional Pathos offers a unique blessing tied to a named resident spirit — a character from the world's history whose intense emotions left a mark on the land.

The blessings themselves range from stat increases (Max HP, Max LP, Max Stamina, Max Ichor, Vitality, Dexterity, Willpower, Mind) to combat bonuses (Attack Power, Strength, Partner Attack Power, Status Ailment Buildup Rate) to defensive bonuses (Resistance to All Status Ailments, Defence Against Elemental Attacks, Guarding Stamina Cost Reduction) and utility bonuses (Extended Forma Effect, Regeneration Use Boost, Fire Element on Weapons, Higher Drop Rate, Blood Code Mastery Efficiency).

Blessings are region-specific: a Corroded Scar Pathos only buffs you while you're in Corroded Scar.

But multiple Pathos blessings can be active simultaneously — if you've prayed at all four Corroded Scar altars, every one of those blessings stacks while you're there.

Pray at an altar again to deactivate its blessing if you want to test your build without it. All active blessings are visible in the top-right corner of the Map Menu and in the Traits section of your Character Sheet.

How Regional Pathos Appear on Your Map in Code Vein 2

Regional Pathos appear as distinctive altar icons on the map — horn-like spire shapes that become visible once you've discovered the area.

The most reliable route to finding them is clearing the Map Jammers in a region first: once the fog is lifted, Pathos icons appear on the map, making navigation direct rather than blind.

Before clearing the Jammer, you'll need to navigate to the altar position using MapMaster's coordinates.

Regional Pathos Blessings by Area

• MagMell Island hosts one Pathos: Pathos of Ingrid - The Savant on the eastern coast cliff, offering Max LP and Ichor Boost for the island.

• Sunken City has five: Carmen - The Star (Max Stamina and Mind), Milo - The Engineer (Max Ichor and Dexterity, atop Sunken Pylon via rear elevator), Adelheid - The Holy Maiden (Vitality and Regeneration Use, upper building via ladder), Armand - The Warhorse (Attack Power and Strength, Arcade Ruins top floor), and Egbert - The Ruler (Max HP and Willpower, Mountain Underground Facility lower level).

• Corroded Scar has four: Ella - The Sun Princess (Max HP, Max LP, All Status Ailment Resistance — in an acid zone, motorcycle recommended), Shizuku - The Ascetic (Max Stamina and Partner Attack Power), Karl - The Votary (Extended Forma Effect and Regeneration Use, cave access), and Theodore - Mutinous Knight (Guarding Stamina Cost Reduction and Max Ichor, Northern Watch Fort top level).

• Undead Forest has six: Alessandro Gobbo (Higher Drop Rate, Bureau's Castle courtyard), Cyrus - The Musician (Max LP and Elemental Defence, cliff above Village Beneath Dam), The Nameless Heroes (Fire Element on Weapons and Regeneration Use, cliff edge), Konrad - Father of the Cult (Max Ichor and Willpower, Gorge Cave altar), Ned - The Maligned (Attack Power and Status Ailment Buildup, ladder-and-drop access), and Lucia - Mother of the Wasteland (Max Stamina and More Food Items Usable per Exploration, Mountain Hamlet).

• Insula Carcere has one: Pathos of Hyuga - The Escape Artist (Max HP, Max LP, Regeneration Use), found on the northernmost shoreline when arriving by boat. Insula Carcere only becomes accessible after defeating all three initial Heroes.

• The Frontier-wide blessings (two Pathos active across all regions): Pathos of Claire - Right Hand of Idris (Restorative Offering Healing Boost, cliff northwest of Western Gatehouse Ruins, 2277: The Present) and Pathos of Clara - The Blood Bag (Blood Code Mastery Efficiency, Underground Shelter on Outskirts).

Timeline Gates and the Motorcycle Access Route

Two Regional Pathos are era-specific.

1. Pathos of Milo - The Engineer in Sunken Pylon is only accessible in the 2179: The Hero Josée's Era timeline.
2. Pathos of Gyoten - The Explorer in Cliff Underground Ruins is only accessible in the 2177: Assault on MagMell Era. In the wrong era, these altars don't appear.

One Pathos requires motorcycle use: Pathos of Ella - The Sun Princess in Corroded Scar sits in an acid zone. On foot, the acid deals constant damage before you can pray. Use the motorcycle to navigate the acid safely to reach the altar.
